eXturn bow thrusters - a revolution in bow thruster design. Absolute Marine are the exclusive importers and distributors of the new generation of bow thrusters.

The eXtern concept was developed in 2008 to improve the efficiency and performance of Bow Thruster technology. The small size and design allows the EXTURN Bow Thruster to be mounted in the optimum position, the outermost forward region of the hull. A combination of this position and the hydrodynamic design means considerably less drag is created when compared to conventional transverse tunnels.
Independent hydrodynamic tests confirm the low drag coefficient of eXturn bow thrusters.
